Edge Stitching:

Mark the four corners of the fabric at a 45 degree angle.
Install the sewing presser foot to the sewing machine and put the threads underneath and towards the back.
Starting sewing from one of the four marks and keep the same ruler scale.
When comes to a corner, keep the needle on the fabric, lift the foot, rotate the fabric and start sewing while keeping the same ruler scale.

Please Note:

When sewing the curve, keep the edge of the fabric and the presser foot scale at right angles.

Parallel Lines
